Lakefield B&B is run and owned by Marz and Liam Kelly.
Marz is a lovely host. She will prepare your breakfast as you like it – let her know if you prefer continental or Irish breakfast and if you have any special dietary needs.
Liam is a native of Achill and is a bogwood scultptor so you will also have a chance to admire and maybe purchase his work.
Lakefield B&B truly reflects its owners – it combines charm and good taste. It’s a lovely lovely house in a beautiful location overlooking the bog, the famous Minaun cliffs and Keel lake. It is located just outside the village of Keel in the very heart of Achill Island, walking distance both from the village and the famous Keel beach (Trawmore beach is in fact the correct name).
Achill Bio-Energy Therapy centre is about 15 min walk or 3 min drive from Lakefield B&B.
Marz and Liam offer 4 double bedrooms, each of them unique and decorated with style. They are all en-suite. One of the bedrooms can be used as double, twin or family room as it contains 2 double and 1 single bed.
