Mulhollow B&B guesthouse is situated in the picturesque village of Dookinella, which is centrally located on Achill Island, close to the bustling village of Keel and it’s facilities. Mulhollow is the perfect accommodation base from which to explore the delights of Achill Island. Achill is renowned for it’s scenery, blue flag beaches, historical sights, sea angling and windsurfing.

Mulhollow’s accommodation is set within the wild and beautiful west coast of County Mayo, overlooked by the majestic mountain of Minaun. Our rooms have breathtaking views of the Slievemore, Cruaghan and Minaun mountains and, of course, the famous Achill Head. Take a 10 minute walk through the village of Dookinella to visit the spectacular cliffs of Minaun and the long sandy beach of Keel Strand.

Visitors will find our guest rooms comfortable with some able to accommodate the needs of a small family with children. After you rise refreshed from your bed, take breakfast in our spacious dining room.

The highlight of Mulhollow B&B are Achill Seaweed Baths – a perfect companion to bioenergy healing. Seaweed has moisturising and detoxifying properties. As bioenergy healing releases toxins from tissues into the bloodstream, it would be a great idea to have a seaweed bath after a healing session to help the body purify itself.

Geraldine and Martin Kilbane are the proprietors’ of this family run B&B, and provide a warm a generous welcome to all visitors.

Directions to Mulhollow B&B:

From Newport take N59 to Mulranny and follow to Achill Island; from Achill Sound (the village just after the bridge) keep driving until you get to Crossroads Inn. At the Inn take a left turn and follow the signs to Mulhollow B&B.
